Love For Allah Ta’ala جل جلاله

Hazrat Moulana Idris Kandehlawi رحمه الله writes:

Love for Allah Ta’ala جل جلاله can never be perfected as long as one does not perfect his enmity and hatred for the enemies of Allah Ta’ala جل جلاله. As much as there is place in the heart for the enemies, to that magnitude the heart will be devoid of the love of Allah Ta‘ala جل جلاله.

Allah Ta’ala did not create two hearts in the chest of a man[Surah Ahzab verse 4]

So how can two conflicting things be entertained in one heart?
