Being Taunted For Following The Commands Of Allah Taala جل جلاله

Hadhrat Mufti Taqi Usmani دَامَتْ بَرَكَاتُهُ once mentioned: “No one can stop the tongues of the people of the world. Even if you continue to live according to the wishes and desires of these worldly people, there is no guarantee that they will not taunt you. They will still taunt you. However, the difference is that now the taunts are because of Allahﷻ and Hisﷻ Messenger, Sayyiduna Rasulullah ‎ﷺ. When a Muslim endures taunts for acting upon Allahﷻ’s Command and reviving the Sunnah of the Sayyiduna Rasulullah ‎ﷺ, the reward and virtue of such taunts are beyond comprehension.

These are the same taunts that were given to all the Prophets عليهم السلام. No Prophet came into this world without being taunted. All the Prophets عليهم السلام were taunted. Some were called mad, some insane, some crazy, and some were called disbelievers. All these taunts were given to the Prophets عليهم السلام.

Therefore, if you are being taunted for walking on the path of Allahﷻ or for reviving the Sunnah of Sayyiduna Rasulullah ‎ﷺ, then consider it as an adornment around your neck. Be proud of it, and rejoice that you are receiving this taunt for the Sake of Allahﷻ”.
