عن ام سلمة رضي الله عنها قالت قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم من قال كل يوم اللهم اغفر لي وللمؤمنين والمؤمنات الحق به من كل مؤمن حسنة
Sayyidah Ummu Salamah رضي الله عنها reported that Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم said: “Whoever says the following daily will receive the reward of one good deed for every believer:
اللهُمَّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ
O Allah! Forgive me and the believing men and believing women.
The current estimated number of believers in the world is over two billion. If a person begs Allah Ta’ala جل جلاله to forgive them, he will be rewarded accordingly Insha Allah. If those who have passed on are added, the number will multiply significantly!

Mustajaabud Dawaat
وعن أبي الدرداء قال : سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم يقول من استغفر للمؤمنين والمؤمنات كل يوم سبعا وعشرين مرة أو خمسا وعشرين مرة – أحد العددين – كان من الذين يستجاب لهم ويرزق بهم أهل الأرض رواه الطبراني
Hazrat Abu Darda رضي الله عنه narrates that he heard Nabi صلى الله عليه وسلم say, “Whoever seeks forgivesness for the believing men and women everyday 27 or 25 times he will become from those whose Duas are accepted and those who are the cause for sustenace being sent to the people of the world.
Based on the above Hadith Shareef my beloved Shaikh, Shafeequl Ummah Hazrat Moulana Muhammad Farooq Sahib رحمه الله prescribed the above Dua as an amal to join the Mustajaabud Dawaat (those whose Duas are accepted)
