اَللَّهُمَّ اِنِّيْ اَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنِ امْرَأَةٍ تُشَيِّبُنِيْ قَبْلَ الْمَشِيبِ وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ وَلَدٍ يَكُوْنُ عَلَيَّ وَبَالًا وَأَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ مَالٍ يَكُونُ عَلَيَّ عَذَابًا وَاَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ صَاحِبِ خَدِيْعَةٍ إِنْ رَّأَى حَسَنَةً دَفَنَهَا وَإِنْ رَّأَى سَيِّئَةً أَفْشَاهَا.
O Allah! I seek Your protection from a wife who makes me old before my time, from children who become a nuisance to me, from wealth which becomes a punishment for me and from a disloyal friend who conceals my good and discloses my faults far and wide. (Musnadul Firdaus #1880)
